How we handle your information

We collect account information you provide, including your email address, password, optional name, Chess.com username, selected plan, and target rating.

We also store report history, delivery logs, subscription status, and operational events needed to run and support the service.

We use your Chess.com username to fetch publicly available Chess.com profile, stats, and game archive data. We use that information to generate weekly coaching reports, identify trends, and create Free or Pro report content.

We use your email address for account access, weekly report delivery, subscription-related messages, test emails requested by an administrator, and support communication.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Chess Wizard Weekly does not store full card numbers. Stripe may collect billing details, payment method information, tax information, and fraud-prevention data according to Stripe's own policies.

We may review aggregate product and operational data such as signups, subscriptions, report generation, email delivery, failed jobs, and support issues. This helps us diagnose problems and improve the product.

We use cookies and similar browser storage for authentication, session security, signup flow continuity, and basic application behavior. You can control cookies through your browser, but disabling them may prevent account features from working.

We keep account, subscription, report, email, and operational records for as long as needed to provide the service, satisfy billing and support obligations, prevent abuse, and improve reliability. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting support.

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal information. Some information may need to be retained for billing, security, legal, or legitimate operational reasons.
